These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern the use of the Yon platform (“Platform”), operated by 3-102-938509 SRL (Costa Rica) (“Yon”, “we”, “us”, “our”). By registering and verifying your phone number, you agree to be bound by these Terms immediately upon completing registration.

1. Nature of the Platform
Yon is not a casino, bookmaker, binary options service, or gambling operator. Yon does not accept bets against the house. All activities are peer-to-peer skill-based interactions, where outcomes depend primarily on the expertise, knowledge, and actions of Users.
Market prices (e.g., “Yes” or “No”) reflect aggregated user opinions and do not constitute financial advice, predictions, or guarantees.

2. Definitions
- User: an individual registered on the Platform.
- Pick: a User’s prediction or order on a particular event or outcome.
- Bonus Funds: promotional funds provided by Yon that may be used within the Platform but are not withdrawable.
- Balance: the total of User’s real-money funds and Bonus Funds visible in the account.

3. Registration & Eligibility
Users must be at least 18 years old to use the Platform.
One individual may maintain only one account. Multiple accounts are prohibited.
Registration requires phone number verification. Yon may request additional documents to verify identity or age.
Users identified as residents of restricted jurisdictions may have accounts suspended or terminated. Yon may restrict access in certain jurisdictions at its sole discretion.

4. User Responsibilities
Users are fully responsible for securing their devices, credentials, and access to the Platform.
Users are prohibited from engaging in fraud, collusion, manipulation, or abusive conduct.
Yon is not responsible for the content or actions of other Users.
Users remain responsible for any content they submit, including potential copyright or trademark infringements.

5. Bonus Funds
Bonus Funds are promotional and non-withdrawable.
They may be used only within the Platform and expire within two (2) weeks unless otherwise determined by Yon.
If not used before expiration, Bonus Funds lapse without compensation.
Bonus Funds remain subject to their expiration period even in cases of downtime, suspension, or service interruption.
Yon may amend Bonus Fund rules at its discretion.

6. Commissions & Fees
Yon applies commissions only to profitable Picks.
Commission levels depend on User activity and status within the Platform.
If an account is inactive for 3 months, Yon may charge an inactivity fee (typically up to $1 every two weeks, subject to change).
Yon may amend commission structures and fees at its sole discretion.

7. Payments & Withdrawals
Minimum withdrawal amount is $10, subject to change by Yon.
Withdrawals require successful KYC/AML verification performed by an external provider.
Withdrawal timelines depend on AML checks and payment provider processing, typically within 3–5 business days.
Yon does not custody user funds. All deposits and withdrawals are processed by licensed payment aggregators.
Yon does not store payment credentials.
Remaining balances may be confiscated in cases of fraud, violations of Terms, or restricted jurisdiction access. Yon may attempt to refund funds using the original payment method at its discretion.

8. Taxes & Reporting
Users are solely responsible for any taxes applicable to their activity.
Yon provides statements and reports showing deposits and withdrawals under the Balance – Statements & Reports section.

9. User Content & Intellectual Property
All content submitted or generated by Users (including usernames, avatars, Picks, comments, statistics) becomes the property of Yon.
Yon owns all intellectual property related to the Platform, including branding, design, interface, analytics, and AI predictions.
Achievements, badges, levels, and the Brier score have no monetary value and cannot be sold, exchanged, or monetized. They exist solely to measure User skill and experience.

10. Security
Yon will never request SMS codes or login credentials via email or chat. Access is secured only through SMS one-time verification.
Yon conducts ongoing internal security reviews and improvements to ensure user safety and comfort.
Users are responsible for securing their devices and internet connections.

11. Risk Disclaimer
Participation on the Platform carries financial risk.
Yon provides historical data, live analytics, and AI predictions “as is” without guarantees.
Outcomes are not binary and may include in-event tasks, early exits, or Bonus rewards.
Users must make independent and informed decisions. Yon is not liable for losses.

12. Termination & Suspension
Yon may suspend or terminate accounts for violations of these Terms, fraud, abusive behavior, or legal obligations.
Yon may confiscate funds in cases of serious violations.
Users may close their accounts at any time. Financial records may be retained for compliance.

13. App Stores & Third Parties
By using the Platform via Apple App Store or Google Play, Users also agree to comply with the respective store’s terms and policies.
Yon is not responsible for third-party websites, links, or content outside the Platform.

14. Dispute Resolution & Governing Law
These Terms are governed exclusively by the laws of Costa Rica.
Yon reserves the right to designate another jurisdiction for dispute resolution.
Users agree to attempt resolution via negotiation or arbitration/mediation before initiating court proceedings.
Regulatory demands from jurisdictions outside Costa Rica shall not be recognized by Yon.

15. Force Majeure & Service Termination
Yon is not liable for interruptions or failures caused by circumstances beyond its control, including but not limited to natural disasters, war, sanctions, telecommunications failures, or third-party service disruptions.
Yon may suspend, discontinue, or terminate the Platform at any time. In such cases, Bonus Funds, badges, levels, or other non-monetary assets shall not be compensated. Real-money balances will be processed in accordance with withdrawal procedures.

16. Updates to Terms
Yon may amend these Terms at any time.
Updates take effect immediately upon publication.
Users are responsible for reviewing Terms regularly. Continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of revised Terms.
